It’s a sweet fact that I love all that Sweets From The Earth bakes. They even interviewed me on their blog last year because I am such a fan. When I found out that they were launching their frozen cookie dough, I knew it was going to be incredible!
Ilana, the owner and head vegan baker, dropped one “tube” of each of their flavours (except the Walnut Brownie batter, since my sister is allergic to nuts – but I would like to try that at some point) for me to try.
The first flavour we tried was the Organic Ginger Molasses, and it was so amazing. The smell coming from our kitchen when they were baking was mouth watering! I don’t know where they got this cookie dough idea from since it’s not even one of their baked cookies, but it should be now!
My brother, sister, and I had so much fun baking the Double Chocolate dough (nut-free version) into a “Happy Birthday” message for my cousin! And everyone really liked eating it. Oh, and it tastes as good raw as it does baked! I just actually had a few forkfuls of dough now! Because it’s vegan, and there’s no raw egg or anything, it’s safe to eat raw – great for us kids who never listen when you say “don’t lick!”.
My mom added chunks of the raw cookie dough into her special “frozen banana soft serve ice cream” and we all loved it so much!
No matter how you eat, vegan or not, gluten-free, nut-free or otherwise, you should definitely have the Sweets From The Earth cookie dough in your freezer! It’s perfect for playdates, celebrations or any other things that you might have in mind for it. Remember, you can make it into any size or shape that you want!
