Before my visit to Sunshine Market on College Street, I only had known of them from Brickworks Market, where my sister and brother love getting their Saturday morning juice, so, it was such a pleasure to be able to stop into their retail store and juice bar on College Street. It’s clear that the people who own it are friendly and products they sell are healthy just from the big sunshine logo on the window (see link to my video below – sorry for the lack of pictures, I was busy tweeting at the front of their store on a really comfy chair, while my mom and sister shopped and got a smoothie, in their reusable container!).
This small but full store sells everything from produce to ice cream, and although it’s not large, they have filled it with lots of goodness.
I suggest you get a drink from their fresh smoothie and juice bar, and ask them about the Banana Brownies they carry (all banana, but looks like a chewy brownie and SO good). If you are in the mood for a salty snack, they stock one of my favourites, SeaSnax!
