RawFoodz CheeSauce is ridiculously good. Even though we make our own salad dressings at home, the exception to that rule is RawFoodz line of dressings, which I have been enjoying for a few years now. They are raw, vegan, organic, gluten-free, nut-free and kosher, too. They also have a buttery-style spread called “Zen Buddha” which is so great anywhere you would use butter, including on hot toast!
When I heard that this company was adding a “cheese” sauce to their line of products, I was really excited. I had every confidence that it was going to be awesmazing, and it is! Thanks to Michelle, one of the really nice owners for dropping off a jar of their Original and Chipotle flavours, as I got to try them just as they hit store shelves!
All I can say is that I ate the entire jar of Chipotle after just two sittings, at which point, I will admit to licking the jar with my fingers (see pic below). My sister and mom loved it over their market-fresh asparagus, and we also found out that it was delicious as a “mac and cheesauce” with baked kale chips on top, and as a nacho sauce. I’m sure there are 1,000s of great ways to use it, right out of the jar or cooked!
It’s not available everywhere yet, but it’s worth searching for it, and bringing it into your kitchen! I know that The Big Carrot in Toronto carries it since it’s where I have replenished my stock from. RawFoodz is a local company who believes in all of us eating really good, organic food – check out their website to learn more about the owners and for recipes!
