Youth Eco-Heroes Roundtable with David Suzuki: October 2016

This week, I had the incredible opportunity to sit in and listen to 10 inspiring and passionate youth in conversation with David Suzuki. In addition to being blown away by the intelligence, empathy and kindness of all of these articulate, determined, positive young adults, and the brilliant, generous and humble, Suzuki, my heart was bursting watching my son, @ry_storm, occupying a seat at this table.Although he contributed, I believe he walked away with much more than he bargained for – new connections, a sense of belonging, hope for the future, and much more. I left the event grateful seeing Ryan so proud, with renewed confidence that we can bring about #change, together (especially if our future is in the hands of those who were sitting around that table…wow!).
